Preparing Your iPhone
Before you start:
You must have a personal iCloud account ready, if not please follow this guide
Your new iPhone is delivered or is on it way to you
Your current iPhone must be on the latest iOS version available
Ensure that you’ve set a passcode on your current iPhone
Ensure that your Okta MFA app is usable on your current iPhone for the setup process of the new iPhone.
Important: Do not reset your current iPhone until you have fully setup your new iPhone.

How to create a temporary backup of your current iPhone:
Before you set up your new iPhone, you need to make sure you've moved all of your data into temporary iCloud storage.
Go to Settings, then 'General'
Scroll down and tap 'Transfer or Reset iPhone'
Under 'Prepare for New iPhone', tap 'Get Started'
If you see 'iCloud Backup is Turned Off', tap 'Turn On Backup to Transfer'
If you don't have enough iCloud storage, you see a message that says you're eligible to get free extra iCloud storage. Tap 'Continue'
Wait for the backup to be completed
Once you have set up this back up you have 21 days to restore your temporary backup to your new iPhone before your temporary iCloud storage expires and your backup is deleted permanently.
Make sure you set up your new phone before the backup is deleted.
Once you've backed up your files, you can set your new iPhone!
