Step 1 - Setting up your preferences 

1.oSelect your language

2. Select your country or region

3. Read the Data & Privacy information and select 'Continue'

4. Apps & Data - you'll see a Data & Privacy screen pop up, select 'Continue' and then select 'Don't Transfer Apps & Data'

5. Read about Remote Management - and then click 'Next'

Step 2 - Login to your ITV Account

1. Login using your ITV email address 

2. Verify that it's you with a security method

3. Wait whilst we configure your iPad

Step 3 - Add your security settings

1. Set up Touch ID or Face ID (if you have an iPad Pro) - Select 'Continue' when this pops up on the screen and follow the instructions - this will mean you can log in using your fingerprint

2. Set up your passcode - enter a memorable 4-digit code when prompted to and then re-enter this

3. Keep your iPhone up to date - Read the information and click 'Continue

4. Enable Location Services - select 'Enable location services'

Step 4 - Personalise your iPad

1. Set up Screen Time reports, if you'd like to

Step 5 - Personalise your apps

Your ITV iPad comes with lots of useful apps, including:

To download other apps head to Self Service - ITV's App Store! Here you can download other apps without needing to use an Apple ID

If you can't find the app you're looking for or have one you'd like us to add - let us know!

Step 6 - Login to MyITV

MyITV comes installed on your ITV iPad and is the place to go to find out company information, policies or more information about colleagues across ITV. 

To link the app to your account: 

1.oOpen the desktop version of MyITV from your ITV laptop, click your profile icon in the top right corner 

2. Select 'Settings' and then 'Devices'

4. Click '+ Add Device' - a QR code will appear

5. Open myITV on your ITV phone or tablet and select 'I Already Work for ITV' 

6. Then select 'Sign in with QR code'

7. Scan the QR code with your iPad camera

You'll now be logged in and ready to use myITV from your mobile.

Step 7 - Set up any accessories (keyboard, mouse and Apple Pencil) 

You can now connect a Bluetooth keyboard and/or mouse to your iPad

1.0Turn on your Apple Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, or Keyboard and place it near your iPad

2. Open the 'Settings app' on your iPad

3. Tap 'Bluetooth'

4. Look under 'Other Devices' for the name of your accessory, then tap its name to pair it with your iPad


Note: If you're pairing a non-apple accessory, follow the pairing mode steps from its manufacturer

The Apple Pencil allows you to make quick notes, mark up PDFs, edit photos, and use applications. To connect your Apple Pencil to your new iPad:

1st generation (this pencil is smooth and you can remove the cap from the bottom):

1.0Remove the cap and plug your Apple Pencil into the charging port on your iPad.

2. When you see the Pair button, tap it.

3. After you pair your Apple Pencil, it will stay paired until you restart your iPad, turn on Airplane Mode or pair it with another iPad.

2nd generation (this pencil has no removable cap):

1. Simply attach the pencil to the side of the iPad, it is magnetic so it will stick!

2. When you see the Pair button, tap it.
